Hey guys, today, on this special occasion of Eid-Ul Fitr, the festival of sweets, gods, love and happiness, we present you, a tribute to this holy festival, an expression of love to the one and only, GOD!

 

 

Now the whole point of creating this post is to change the typical mentality of all the people around the world that it is a festival of muslims. NO! IT IS NOT THE FESTIVAL OF MUSLIMS!! Instead, it is the FESTIVAL OF PEOPLE, every one of us. Anyone can celebrate it, as far as it brings happiness all around. Its all about being together, with the loved ones, eating sweets, wearing those shiny, pretty looking ethnic clothes. It’s just another day, to wear good, eat good, and most of all, FEEL GOOD!

 

Now, after this sentimental message, lets just talk about the look of the day. =)

 

Here, you can never go wrong with a beautifully detailed, minimal, yet festive green and yellow sharara set. Since its Eid special, we have chosen an asian traditional outfit. The kurta I am wearing is in net fabric with gota work all over, with some gota details in sharara and dupatta as well. It has a contrasting dupatta with golden borders and tassels around it, which make it more graceful.

So, I have paired my outfit with pretty vintage Afghani earrings which are very much in trend these days and are easily available in streets and shops of local markets. Then I chose a maang tika, which is customised to match the look. Now its time to get into the footwear! A right pair of shoes can make everything look different. So I have chosen a pair of golden Jooti, which has a trending pearl work, which is complimented by intricate embroidery.

So, Don’t just wear your clothes, Feel them!
